| Abstract: | Models were developed for volume discounts / price regime deterministic demand processes, incorporating uncapacitated and capacitated supply systems. Then, the solutions were implemented on Microsoft Excel platform by skillfully exploiting the composition of the minimum and maximum values concepts. Finally, the Goal Seek procedure was exposed to determine demand levels that would achieve specified revenue targets, with a note on the vexed issue of feasibility. |
